Fall sports are well underway and excitement abounds at Deep Run. Our students have returned to campus with enthusiasm and eagerness for making the 2011-2012 school year a big success.

The same is true for The Deep Run Wildcat Club. Did you know that since its inception, the The Wildcat Club (also known as the Wildcat Athletic Booster Club) has raised close to $750,000 for our athletic programs? These generous donations have provided for improved practice and playing fields, stadium lights, track updates, timing systems, equipment and uniforms for all programs, assistant coaching salaries, student athlete scholarships, and much more.

Henrico County provides for only a small portion of Deep Run's athletic requirements. As our school continues to grow and add more athletic teams and participants, the financial requirements to support these programs also continues to grow. The enclosed brochure outlines the mission of the Wildcat Club, the contribution levels and the benefits received, but most importantly the needs of our athletic department this year that are not provided for by county. Meeting these needs is what the Wildcat Club is all about.

We want to encourage and support the many students who work so hard and are so dedicated to their athletic endeavors. We ask for your participation to ensure that our student athletes continue to have the best equipment and facilities needed to stay competitive.

The Deep Run High School sports programs have enjoyed many successes over the past years due to the hard work and dedication of the students, parents, teachers, and the surrounding community. Please join the Wildcat Club and be a part of the future success of our athletic programs.
